A summer that felt dangerous
During the extreme heatwaves of 2026, dehydration stopped feeling abstract. Watching a fit 89-year-old neighbor struggle — and seeing a close relative's health take a hit from not drinking enough — was impossible to ignore.

The apps I found weren’t built for her
I looked for something simple. Instead I found paywalls, subscriptions, and cluttered screens. Even the paid ones felt hard to use — nothing I could trust my parents with on the first try.

So I built her one
Sip & Pill is the app I wished already existed: water and medication reminders, offline and private, with an interface calm enough for someone her age — or my elderly neighbor — to use with confidence. No login. No ads. Free for everyone, forever.
